In car tablet PC?

Hi Guys,

Just got one of these from work and it makes an awesome viewer for memory map Thumbs Up
Just ordered the ball mount kit as used by a number of you guys here, minus the screen support kit...simply swivel round the screen to lay flat then change the orientation....class piece of kit Thumbs Up

On a similar note I have the Samsung Q1 Ultra tablet. It has a slot for a 3G broadband Sim card so I'm connected pretty much everywhere I go. The Samsung car mount kit is spot on and being completely solid state it should withstand many off road meets. I'll put some pictures up tomorrow.

Not really a tablet PC, but well worth checking out: HTC Shift ( http://www.htc.com/www/product.aspx?id=596 )

I just received mine this morning. Very, very impressive. I've used HP TC1000 and TC1100 tablets before (still have them both) but this is something else. 7" touch screen and built-in GPS and 3G make the Shift very useable in a car.

Sorry, didn't mean to write GPS but GPRS - there IS a tiny difference Smile

However, the Shift can be used for navigation with an external bluetooth GPS receiver and proper sw.
