My last one Marmais Teal was a great colour, though a little bluer in colour.

Thumbs Up

Years ago statistics showed that green cars were involved in more accidents.
Perhaps the colour blends into the countryside more so people didn't spot them so easily.
I'm prepared to take that risk and that's why I have a green car Very Happy

Had a 1995 TDI 300 in Willow Green according to SWMBO. I wouldn't know as I am colour blind. Big Cry Remember the car and it was a nice colour. Whatever Willow Green is.

So, the next time you order another grey car, give a thought for the classic Land Rover colours too!! Very Happy

The one thing I like about boring old Stornoway Grey is that it doesn't look dirty so I don't get hassle from people about not washing my vehicle. Whistle Rolling with laughter

I like the look of Aintree Green, suits the L405 in that article. Thumbs Up

I loved my Aintree Green one and so did everyone who saw it and I think it's only certain dealers that don't like Aintree. I wished I could have got my Landmark in Aintree but alas it wasn't available and I had to get a black one and it will be the last black Land Rover I have as you can mark the paint just by looking at it the wrong way Evil or Very Mad Laughing

Aintree Green looks the business. Only ever had one black car, a 1961 VW Beetle. It looked fabulous when cleaned and polished but that didn't last to the next day. Even a light coat of dust spoiled it. Big Cry A sunny day showed up all the light swirls. Black cars were uncommon in the sixties apart from belonging to funeral directors. Now they are ten a penny. Silver doesn't show the muck.

It's good to see so much support for Aintree; maybe, if a dealer decides that Aintree Green is hard to sell, then it will become a self fulfilling prophesy.

If you work in sales and decide that something won't sell, then perhaps those are the vibes that you'll give out to the customers? You might park "that green one" out of sight and perhaps not talk about it with any degree of enthusiasm.
Three very nice FL2’s and two superb Disco’s to date 👍
Now, with them both out of production, I’ve defected to the Footballer / Drug Barron camp, with a L405 FFRR.

I prefer Tonga to Aintree, but still like Aintree and would have chosen it if I could have done.

Its really not that at all its all about how many calls/messages you get from an advert, from my experience you get 5 for every Black car to 1 for a Green....

Black 5/1
Grey 4/1
Blue/White/Red 3/1
Silver/Bronze 2/1
Green 1/1

Just MY experience of course.

Thumbs Up

Dealer I use will not buy a stock vehicle in green, will only order one if the customer to requests it and is very very wary on taking one in as a trade in unless its of an age that he can justify sending it straight to auction.

I can't believe dealers have such an issue with green, I could perhaps understand it for orange, but I have always liked the Land Rover greens and would certainly buy one.

Clearly I must be in the minority, but then I wouldn't consider a black or white car.

I'm a "black pack" man and I've seen all shades of white, black, grey, silver, bronze, red, blue, etc all with "black pack", but don't think I've ever seen a green (of any shade) with a "black pack". Confused

Now that might just be quite nice. Thumbs Up

From the horses mouth, so to speak.

Certainly round my way most D3\4 are Black or Silver with a few White D4s thrown in for good measure
