Cool vid Penguin - good job driving Like seeing all the different trucks giving it a go.I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?
I think NoDo$h is thinking of "Flensjes met slagroom", which actually sounds like a bad porn movie title -- even in Dutch
But "Flensjes met Creme Fraiche" sounds even worse... 2006 Zermatt Silver TDV6 'SE' Auto, Mantec sump guard, Frontrunner roofrack, Lightforce 140s, split charge system and... a Jetboil.

Penguin, a quick search of Dutch culinary websites (yup, they exist!) shows that the dear old pancake is as dear to the Dutch heart as Chips with Mayo to the Belgians. They've got dozens of different types of pancakes and even more names for them!I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
You are right, some pancake places actually serve pancakes with all the toppings you normally see on pizza's...
And imagine a 'Hungarian Goulash' pancake (not kidding!)
But anyway, I really like the idea of a continental Disco3.co.uk activity. Travelling to the UK (with a caravan) is a bit too expensive for me at the moment... 2006 Zermatt Silver TDV6 'SE' Auto, Mantec sump guard, Frontrunner roofrack, Lightforce 140s, split charge system and... a Jetboil.

And if you look at all the other items in the "Dutch cuisine" you'll understand why we are so fond of pancakes... 2006 Zermatt Silver TDV6 'SE' Auto, Mantec sump guard, Frontrunner roofrack, Lightforce 140s, split charge system and... a Jetboil.

Ah, the Dutch and their caravans. I think it all started when someone found out they could take all their possessions on holiday with them, instead of leaving them at the mercy of a leaking polder.
It's got to the stage where if I see a car with a yellow front number plate without a caravan I flash them to warn them it's missing I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

In defense of the European Caravanners (and I dont have one), caravans are not an issue over here, or not in Switzerland at least. Fortunately they dont (seem) to have the speed restriction applied to them like you do in the UK.
I cant remember being stuck behind a caravan here and there are plenty on the roads. They just seem to hurtle along at or above the national speed limit.
Someone tell me my facts are all wrong but it is what I observe, honest!Life is what you make it.
In most european countries the speed limit for cars with trailers is 80km/h (approx 60 mph). In France there seems to be no limitation . I don't know about the limits in switzerland. But anyway, the D3 will happily cruise along with the rest of the traffic while towing
Our caravan is part of a bigger scheme: first SWMBO only wanted luxury hotels, now she is happy with the caravan. But she is already warming up to one of those cool off-road tent trailers.
What trailer do you have Penguin, it looks really cool... 2006 Zermatt Silver TDV6 'SE' Auto, Mantec sump guard, Frontrunner roofrack, Lightforce 140s, split charge system and... a Jetboil.
