I have just noticed that the black grainey surface has rubbed off, leaving a blue colour showing in a couple of places on the inside door trim,on both front doors.only ever wipe it with a damp chamois leather.Has anybody experienced this, any thoughts.thanks in advance. Cheers,

It is quite common & often normal for inside trim panels to be spray painted to make them "match" - a normal production process not a bodge. I know all trim panels for the BMW mini, Freelander 1, Nissan Micra, Primera, Almera received this treatment. The bits that were made for the Disco 3 (initial stages - not any more didn't though). (Intier plant - Tyneside)
There are a few companies I have seen advertised that will "touch in" defects or dings with fillers & spray paint.. BREXIT - done properly.
