| Should you insure your oil? |

Just been in to chat to the dealer regarding my next service. I asked for a price to do the main gearbox and axles in addition to the diff, transfer box done as part of the 75K service.
Cost for oil alone for the main gearbox (regulation double flush) is £275. 
if you tot up the engine, boxes, axles and diffs, does the insurance company know the value of oil in this vehicle!!!?
(I have almost recovered now BBJ  ) end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......
