| iPod Connection - change playlist on 3G iphone |

Just taken delivery of an HSE with dealer fitted ipod connection.
I am following the instructions supplied but I can't change playlist using the steering wheel controls (hold down next track button for 2 secs). Am I doing something wrong or will this not work on an iphone?
Track change works fine. Sound quality is very good.
