I had no smell of diesel in the cabin before the recall work, now the cabin reeks of it and also as said earlier, the underneath of the D3 is coated with diesel right down to the exhaust. Should I be concerned? or is this just diesel spilt when carrying out the work? Any similiar experiences?

My car is booked in on friday ,after getting my letter last week ....................................i will keep you posted of any problems
Travelling out home yesterday evening with trailer, just two days after getting recall work carried out. There was a bong then readout engine system failure, then total loss of power. Pulled in and turned off engine. Luckily enough it reset itself and headed on home. Any clues? as have a lot of driving to do this week in Kerry and dont fancy my chances getting stuck in the middle of nowhere. Also fuel consumption seems to have gone way down since work carried out. Was getting in the region of 30mpg now it is varying between 14 and 19. Again any clues would be helpful as better leave into dealers again today.
Regards, D3 1234.
Turns out code was for a fault in turbo valve. If it happens again they said they would have to replace turbo.

Just collected mine from Yeovil after the recall issue.
Had the vacuum line cleaned and the mod put in the pump.
The guys even washed it afterwards

Had mine done today - The pipe and valve were replaced but they said that the old pipe showed no sign of any ingress of oil. Never mind - better safe than sorry!
Are the vacuum lines at the bulkhead the same? There seems to be a bit more plumbing there now.
