England 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Tonga GreenDiscovery 3

I had the joys of being on nights last week, no forward planning by management and only a not inconspicuous Volvo V70 for transport. Atleast I had the D3 to get home in at the end of the shifts!

Thursday night during heavy snow showers, travelling along the A63 overtaken by a number of idiots in lane two in the laying snow.

I am sure had they lost control they would have wanted our assistance!

Remember laughing or smiling confuses the management.

Oi, that was taken at 7:30am, after getting up at 2am the morning before. Am I not entitled to a little lie in.

Got to use it a few times today as mentioned, then got a call from a work mate in Walderslade who's elderly parents live in the country nr me, needed a few provisions, so Tesco's off I trundled.

So in all I have had enough of the plums in their euro boxes skimming along kerb stones

I thought when he fluked it nearly back into his own parking space he was gonna give up and sack the job off. Then he throws a wobbler, sticks it in reverse and floors it?????

X5 has 4WD and HDC (borrowed from RR production) so should do a bit better...

BMW saloons have 50:50 weight distribution. It's the tyres that cause problems in snow - even the X5 usually supplied with summer tyres. With winter tyres, they are all very good in snow.

Manc, now THAT'S AutoEmotion....... Laughing

Jonty, with winter tyre's they're adequate. Trouble is, so few in the UK bother with them and carnage is the result.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
