Is my compressor on its way out?

Noticed this morning my D3 leaning to the left(when looked at from rear) quite a bit, however the left hand side wheels weren't on my drive but in the grass next to it(to allow another car to park along side). There was no evidence of the ground sinking below the wheels. More alarminly the suspension takes forever to reach off road height, needs a few attempts and about 2-3000rpm.

The compressor is electric - revs won't make any difference to the performance. Have a listen and see if it is working noisily or excessively - stick your ear inside the rear nearside wheel arch.

I think most D3's seem to lean to the left (TFC... NOOO !) when viewed from the rear. Mine does especially in the morning.

Seems to correct itself after being started up. Noticed this on most D3's I've seen parked too.

Not sure if its a trait of the car or not...
