Over here they sometimes just set the bar low to keep out certain types of vehicles like camping vans and commercial vehicles... rather than the space available!

I use Sheffield Q Park car park and it advertises its height as 1.8m. I am ok in access height (I also have the phone shark fin arial). It does feel horrid though.

Just to anyone reading this thread... I was initially under the impression that D4 and D3 were the same height, but today I learnt that actually the D4 has a height of 1888mm in access height mode, partially due to the external roof mounted antenna (Source: Owners Handbook Publication Part No. LRL 10 02 59 131). I don't know if this applies to all model years of D4, I just now know it to be so for my 2013MY vehicle. I just thought I'd let y'all know before anyone gets caught out!

You can get a SE (safely) on the Eurotunnel at 1.85m provided you don't have PTI. Not sure if all HSEs have PTI??

And with PTI/sharkskin. Whistle

Done it a couple of times. Thumbs Up

Have many people hit the swinging height restriction board when entering the car park? Have you been OK once inside? I’d imagine that there would be some safety factor/tolerance on top of the stated height.

I can just get under 2m with my expedition roof rack on and lowered and locked to access.

...it's a little buttock clenching.
