where is the page about cancelling seat beat alarms

I remember some one wrote on this forum on how to disable the seat belt alarm on the passenger seat. It really is annoying when you have something on the seat that is heavy enough to trip the seat belt alarm.

Can anyone remember where it is as I have looked on Tips & Tricks and cannot find it.
Thanks

Hi Richard,

Hee hee, yes it's a very annoying noise. Don't ask me why Confused but, I would still like know how to return it to its original state should the need ever arise.

Does this method also disable the light? As that may have been what happened to my Disco?

I haven't ever had a seatbelt alarm?

Thanks Martin, mine must have been disabled some other way??

Might have to check the cables/connectors under the seat.

Seems they were disconnected at some stage, as my seat heater (pnger side) stopped working after the car came back from the dealer.

Can't remember the seat belt warning ever working?

It concerns me, in case this is linked to the seatbelt pretensioners.
