Fingers crossed that you get some support from Land Rover on this.
My TDV6 SE is 4 years old in March and I'm now certainly going to replace the expiring LR warranty with a Tesco warranty for peace of mind. £419 over 10 interest free payments well spent I reckon.

With the number of potential customers on the 3 sites, I wonder if an approach from Martin could lead to them (the firm behind Tesco Warranty) becoming site sponsors and offering a discount????

If you have FSH, and/or a catalouge of faults with the car while you have owned it, LR may cover a certain percentage of the cost of the repair as goodwill

Thanks D_M, but why would they?
Surely now at [1 month short of] 4 years old [with FSH] and with 118k on the clock, they'd put this down to wear & tear??
Goods news is that the aftermarket warranty will cover 50% of the parts & 100% labour.I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

err, the Turbo you posted on the link is the one I bought, but 15min later had to get a refund!!
Nothing to do with turbo or seller .... it's a long story ... I'll do a post about it later [but it is tied into my Ripon Land Rover thread/experience]!
I feel a grump coming on as I type ......... I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

The deal I get with Warranty Direct is they don't replace on a 'new parts for old' basis.
It's mileage based, with certain step levels, but once over 100k the ratio is 50%.
But they do pay labour at 100%I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Sorry Ron I'm not helping am I, I think the 100% on labour is the better deal looking at there costs.
