2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Java BlackDiscovery 3
What is this part?

When taking of the back N/S wheel I found this broken part. It runs into the calipers on this side only. Through it run 2 wires which are intact. Is this a brake pad sensor? And should I be worried it's broken?

Brake pad sensor Thumbs Up

Just the sleeving broken by the looks of it , pvc tape would do to stop water ingress Thumbs Up
