It's passed its first big test

Three weeks into D3 ownership and I'm well impressed!

Formerly a Subaru Liberty (Legacy) 3.0RB owner but a growing family meant something a little more serious. Incidenly are there many other former Subaru owners here?

Got the Disco because it s Censored t all over the Q7, X5 and CX-9 we also test drove.

For such a big beast it handles indecently well.

Which is just as well because last night we had a 3am trip to the hospital for baby number 3 and it managed to take a signed 40 kph corner at least twice that speed (although it is not something I'll be doing again soon). Shocked

Who would have ever thought a 4wd could be so hushed too - it leaves plenty of euro lux cars for dead.

There are a few things to get used to - never thought I'd need a step ladder to clean a car before. Paint quality on bonnet is not perfect (looks like a plastic bag clung to to the paint in one spot while it was still wet and was then taken off)

Yes it is silver, but I ordered it before I knew about all the MY09 colour coded bits ( I was so close to ordering a Stornaway grey!!)

New 19" wheels look great but are a Censored to clean.

Looking forward to many years of happy and trouble free motoring! Very Happy

If it's only 3 weeks old and you're not happy with the paint finish then take it BACK to the dealer and get him to sort it out !!

Congratulations on your choice of vehicle though Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Paint issues on bonnet sorted. It's amazing what a good wax and mechanical buffing / polishing will do. And I didn't even have to go to the dealer. Very Happy

Still the stealer should have picked it up as part of delivery. Sad

6 weeks now into ownership and still massively impressed with the new Disco - kudos to the good engineers and designers at Land Rover! Very Happy

Just make sure you don't rest on your laurels....keep innovating folks
