On a related topic, what does everyone use to pad the metal plate on the jack, I used to have a nice big block of wood but it walked off...

HA! Had the edit page open for few hours, someone comes along and posts the answer to the question I have not yet asked!

I've also got one of those specaily made adaptors shown above and fitted one of these rubber things over top (holed driiled in centre) as i also jack up under wishbones-





Ps their both available on E bay
