Hi all for some reason my scissor jack has decided to start flattening it’s threads. So I was thinking of getting a bottle jack off a d1/d2. Does anybody know if they are any good for the job?

Yes. The red landrover bottle jacks are well suited to D3
Other bottle jacks may not lift high enough

those disco 1 jacks are about the best for the job 2005 discovery 3 tdv6
1971 200 tdi 2 door range rover
300tdi defender 90 in bits needs lots of work

I suspect not as it has a limited maximum height, (365mm?).
Suitable jacks usually have 2 coaxial rams to provide a greater lift.

Biffysun - those jacks in the link are compatible with the D3? I live in Stirling so if they are then I'll message that seller as they're not far away. 2005 D3 V8
