I’ve got to say considering it was my first body removal I can’t believe how easy it was, I was expecting to have problems aligning the 2 halves on the way down but I was lucky in that I only had to move the back over 1/2” and it dropped straight in place which was awesome, once this is done I’m thinking of getting my rrs in and lifting the body just to do a few jobs like brake pipes and a water leak at the back of the engine and maybe a little rust proofing bodsy style Wink

Great job, I'm really impressed with all you have done and you made it sound really easy and simple. I thought by now that curiosity would have got the better of you and you would be stripping out the old engine to find out why the crank was locked up, we are all waiting with baited breath to find out what the failure was...... Bow down Thumbs Up

I am itching to get the old one apart but I needed to get the car finished to get it out of the workshop so yesterday I reflashed the gearbox to match the car with the help of Pat@Gap who was very swift with the files as always, I then finished fitting the arch liners and flares and the bleed the brakes.
At this point the wasn’t one single warning light on the dash Thumbs Up but that didn’t last long as it was time to drive it, it drives spot on and is very smooth but the suspension is playing around a bit the button works to put it into off-road height but not to go down so I used the iid to adjust the height but when going down to normal height it goes back to extended mode, I have recalibrated the height sensors which seems to have worked but I also have a C1A13-64 fault which points to a gallery venting fault so Im thinking something is stuck where it it’s been stood or the exhaust and drier may need a refresh. I also had a diesel leak from 1 of the leak off connections on the injectors so I will need to keep an eye on them.
