| Just picked up my new Disco3!! |

 Finally done it - after much debate you lot have convinced me that I should have no worries and I have today just picked up a brand new TDV6 HSE 2006MY in Bonatti Grey with Alpaca interior.

Had a long drive back from the dealer (about 130 miles) and nothing went wrong. It is covered in a mucky front of salt and crud, and I am well chuffed. Icy roads and a little snow falling but I felt so confident of the roadholding having done 600 miles yesterday in my V70 T5 with it skitting about in the cold (for sale by the way, 2001 model T5 , loaded with extras, 85,000 miles..., 1 owner, full history)
Just got to suss out the details of how it works but the main thing it is here and mine.
I am very pleased with the deal I got, and I managed to get 25mpg on the drive home as well (it;s an auto and tight as the proverbial ducks whatnot)
Also Thanks to Nigel for his advise on the phone - helped me a lot in getting the best price.
