How do I keep my butt plug in?

....... the little red bung that fits in the tow bar. Confused

I always buy genuine LR ones and I'm now on my third in under 3k miles!!

Apart from superglue Rolling Eyes (kidding), what's the best way of keeping them in?

I find the plug needs more than hand pressure to seat it correctly. I use a rubber mallet to seat it correctly and never had a butt plug go missing Whistle

I drilled a very small hole in the corner and added a "safety chain" that stopped my losing it if it did fall out.

Well blow me down with a feather duster! I didn't even know such things existed. (Okay, I knew about butt plugs. In theory that is, but not one for a Disco). Mine didn't come with one (my Disco that is, not my butt). I shall have to be straight onto t'internet to source one.

You have to thumb it in!

By that I mean the little catch/tab - a bit of pressure on the tab will make sure it clicks into place

@Pedro

Didn't think mine did but found it in the storage space for the jack. Didn't know what it was until I saw it in a thread on here.

Drill a hole in plastic attach using a cable tie, wrap some PTFE round the plastic insert to help it stay in place Thumbs Up
