Key in ignition chime

Does anyone know if it's possible to disable the chime that reminds you to remove the key from the ignition? Mad Probably the most annoying feature of my car.

did I read wrong - on the 07 model a single press makes the window go down?, mine does and is definitely an 06 Question

Perhaps they have gunned the ignition chime and I have some car that swings both ways, half 06 and half 07?

mmm nice for you Laughing Laughing

Be surprised if they had canned the ignition chime but the '07 spec does mention an enhancement to the key in ignition warning. No idea what this is.

If your key is in any position other than ignition on (Christmas lights on dash board) or engine running, then you should get warning chime if you open the drivers door.

Single press past the halfway point has always fully dropped drivers side. Again '07 spec has this applied to the passenger side too I believe.

Well, you would wan't that if you had pets in the car, maybe, but it would be better if holding down the lock button then all windows would shut.

I think you could stop the chiming, but it's a physical fix and not software.

I had a problem before in my LR3, all the warning chimes were not working even the turning signal ticking sound. the dealer said it's faulty odometer and has been changed under warranty.

I missed my old odometer Very Happy
