key sticks in ignition
As in the title. Happens to the key my wife uses, but mine's OK. Wierd, as I cannot see a miniscule physical difference in them. And I don't mean it sticks a bit, I mean it really won't come out. After 5 mins of jiggling around, eventually it will but not without a fight.
Any ideas? Does this happen much (couldn't find anything similar through a search). How easy is it to get replacement keys? Thanks!
PS no I haven't tried putting it in Park as it's a manual Andrew

Strange that, I had the same with mine, I used to struggle with it every time I got out of the car but it seems to have got better over time, maybe it's just worn a bit now.Clive

I have the same problem every now and again, I just wiggle the ignition on again and it comes out straight away.

I have the same problem - '56 plate auto, one original key, and one supplied new 2-3 months ago........both keys do the same - when you turn off, they won't come out without on/off wiggling !
I'm suspecting the actual lock barrel/mech - another little niggle to add to the long(ish) list !
