Kung Fu star Carradine found dead

Carradine was best known recently for starring in Kill Bill
Kill Bill and Kung Fu star David Carradine has been found dead in a Bangkok hotel room.

Thai police told the BBC the 72-year-old was found by a hotel maid sitting in a wardrobe with a rope around his neck and genitals on Thursday morning.
The star was in Thailand filming his latest film Stretch, according to his personal manager Chuck Binder.

Mr Binder said the news was "shocking", adding: "He was full of life, always wanting to work... a great person."

Carradine was part of an acting dynasty which included his father, John Carradine, and brothers Bruce, Keith and Robert.

The star was best known for his role as Kwai Chang Caine in the 1970s TV series Kung Fu, which spawned sequels in the '80s and '90s.

After a career which included more than 100 movies, he recently found fame again thanks to his role in Quentin Tarantino's 2003 film Kill Bill.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Bierman, and four children.
Shocked - Do you think he was rehearsing for a Kung Fu move?? - Grasshopper

strangely BBC make no mention of genitalia - they use the more vague term... 'body'

Steve
That was from the BBC - Ha!! - somebody must have thought that 'genitalia' must be to below the belt (pun intended) or the connotations where to much and changed it
Does however remind me of our famous local councillor Whistle
At least Carradine was not wearing a dress with a bag over his head (we think)

David Carradine swayed into a bar with a pal, a bit unsteady on his feet.

"Oi, is that Kung Fu?" shouted the barmaid

"Naw, he's only had a coupla pints" shouted back his mate.

RIP David Bow down

Kung Fu....?

Pah, his best film was "Death Race 2000" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072856/ with a young sly stallone lol

How can any film with the tagline "In The Year 2000 Hit And Run Driving Is No Longer A Felony. It's The National Sport! " be bad?!
Laughing

RIP
