Hi,
I want tp replace the gear knob on my Disco. Is it a simple job to remove the gear knob. Land Rover want about £22 for a replacement. There are a number of non LR gear knobs available with universal fittings. Are these easy to fit and are they normal successful. Thanks Graham

Just pull it upwards ...its that easy 
Make sure your face is not in the way though G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thanks for the reply.
So is it just a tight fit. Can you recommend any suitable replacements other than the cheap looking LR one. I fancy a leather one. Is there any problem fitting non LR gear knobs? Cheers.
