I wouldn’t say they eliminate wind noise. But they are functional in summer for leaving windows open slightly to allow hot air out or to have the window open a little whilst raining.

Im afraid in terms of wind noise i have a number of items fitted to my car that create wind noise so cant comment so much on that side of them Laughing Thumbs Up

I have Climair ones fitted and they do reduce the wind noise significantly when window open. Mine are the stick on ones, the ones that fit in the window guttering still reduce noise but are noisier than the stick on ones

They also prevent water from either rain or washer jets falling down and onto the window switches when window open.

Havent fitted the rear ones though on this D4 though as very rare rear windows open.
