I like the 'ring of steel' concept around the passenger compartment - at least it looks like that. The chassis also looks like a hybrid box section-mono coque arrangement, I hope LR are not going to sacrifice rigidity. I buy a LR because it is rigid and I dont like the idea of crumple zones. I am not sure all the blurb regarding the green credentials is very achievable in the short term, given that the D3 and RR are gas guzzlers of quite immense proportions.

I've been studying this concept car a bit and have come to the realization that it's a technology demonstration, not a vehicle concept. That's why it has the open body frame and no seats, so you can see the engine, drive train, and all of the other mechanical componets. So, ignore the windshield, roof, tires, and any other body parts and focus on the underlying technology. Only then will it make sense.
