Land Rover Experience

I just got back from the North Yorkshire Land Rover Experience. Absolutely fantastic! really enjoyed it. The D3 is a very capable car off road, and it impressed me very much.

However - It did break down about 6 times during the day Confused I had several suspension errors - just like on my car! we had an abs failure, and hdc failure. It seemed that everytime the car got stressed, i.e cross axled, steep descent, big bump, the computer went haywire. Oh, and I think I ripped the sill off on a rock - but he told me to go there!

It was simple enough to reboot it, but I am not sure what to think really. It either makesme feel comfortable that its not just me that gets these errors, and Land Rover themselves get it, or it makes me feel very uncomfortable that Land Rover can't even fix their own vehicles.

The instructors excuse was that it was a pre-production vehicle, and was due to go and be updated soon.

I'm going proper off roading now, in my proper Land Rover thats made out of chewing gum and girders, but it won't break down. See ya Sunday evening.

Blimey...cold comfort.

I've booked mine for next month....nice to know it's your own car taking the punishment. I've upgraded so the wife can have a go too, should be a scream.
