Seem to remember you have few nice green lanes near you... anytime you want to take a Shropshire lad along them let me know as I'm down this way most weeks.

Problem with our green lanes is they're the overgrown scratchy variety.
But if you come over we'll take the Series III out for a spin

Not really disabled, just be nice to have brakes that worked and steering that responded in less that half a turn of the wheel! Haven't had the opportunity to do much work on it yet, but will soon

Beer sounds good, you down this way next week?

Simon yes the same style of trick works with the brakes to switch of TC! Don't know why any one would want to. The LRE guys seem to be adamant that the preheater doesn't work and even if our method does work it isn't work Confused

I'm intrigued? What is the trick with TC? I didn't know there were any.

Pumping the breaks 9 times before starting up switches the TC off. It might not be exactly that but that was the gist of it, but I didn't go into detail because who the hell would want to do it Question

Didn't know that one, but it may explain why I received a error on the parking brake once. I was sitting in the car waiting for the 'retail theropist' to return from shopping and was twiddling the park brake lever. After a few ups and downs with the ignition off, the park brake light came on, then went off later. When I drove off the dash displayed a parking brake error and advised me to stop.

I did, switched off and rebooted, all was well. Thats why I have called the car Microsoft ever since.

Maybe we have some answers as to why we get the silly errors if we have been fiddling or do something out of the normal.
