Landrover Off Road Days
After picking up our new car yesterday, we enquired about the Land Rover Off Road days and what had happened to them.
The Dealer confirmed that they are no longer offered to New car buyers but i was amazed when i was told that Land Rover were now offering them to POTENTIAL buyers instead.
I cant help thinking that Land Rover have got this the wrong way around.

There is some logic here... why impress somebody who has already baught a car, when you can impress a potential and hopefully convert.
Dont know how they will work it though? I mean wouldnt everybody say they're interested just for an off-road excursion? Maybe they give you a voucher or you pay but get the money back if you purchase a car.
I was told the exact same thing and I picked up my new D3 on Friday. However, Land Rover dealers web-sites were still showing the LRE offer as 'current' until yesterday and hence I (and you) have a legally valid claim to this offer. The dealer web-sites (LR franchised dealer sites) are administered by LR themselves so this has not been an error or ommission on the part of the dealers. I reckon I will be getting my 1/2 day experience come hell or high water......

Picked up my new car on Friday and was told that LR were now giving them to owners after a year of ownership. I can confirm that they are giving the experience for free to prospective owners. A couple of months ago I requested a Range Rover brochure via LR's website. Last week I got an invitation to a free half day at the LRE with a Range Rover, and I don't have to pay an extra £75 to take a friend this time! Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE
