Lazy entry??

Hi, I'm sure that this has probably been asked before but I cant find it. Does anyone know what 'Lazy entry' is in the settings menu on the Disco 3 and what is the difference of having it on or off? Much obliged, Seamus. Bow down

It should push the seat back as you unlock the car

You can program both keys with different seat , mirror and reversing dip mirrors positions.

So when you unlock the car with key 1 ...seats and mirrors move to were they are stored...same with the second key ..Ideal if your wife has the seat shoved right up against the steering wheel ..

You need to have it on before attempting to have it off. Then go very smooth and very slow and let the missus do most of the work. This is known as lazy entry. Whistle

Lazy entry on = ALL doors unlock after a single press of the remote

Lazy entry off = Drivers door only unlocks after a single press of the remote

According to the works shop manual :

Quote:
The 'LAZY ENTRY' menu allows the driver to disable or enable the lazy entry function
which moves the exterior door mirror and the seat position to that set by the driver. The
memory positions are stored in the memory module and the individual settings are
recognised from the ignition key identification. The feature can be changed to on or off
using the steering wheel + or - buttons.

Does it not do this then Whistle

Holy thread resurrection Laughing Laughing

It will depend on which model car you have if this is fitted. On poor man's GS model this is not available.

Would be useful if you completed your profile so the more intelligent peeps on here can give you an expert answer Very Happy
