lazy entry & folding steering column.

hello all, on my 08 hse I have activated the feature wheras when I remove the ignition key the steering wheel moves away & the seat lowers and slides back and stays that way until I re-insert the key. This works fine, until I have the lazy entry activated when the seat moves to the driving position as soon as I unlock the vehicle, which defeats the object of having the seat lowered and steering column folded forward to allow easy access. Shouldn't the seat only move to the memorised driving position when the key is inserted to make use of the easy entry option? Apart from disabling the lazy entry I've been unable to cure this problem, so I'm not sure if I have a problem or is this normal.
kind regards
P

Hobgoglin, thanks for your reply, glad that not all members are simply sarcastic ****ers. For their info. I do not have access to the manual at present.

Hi P,
The guys would have assumed you had the manuals or knew about the copy available at the Land Rover web site. I'm sure it was just meant as a friendly wind up. Use the attached URL and you can down load any of the manuals that you need. Thumbs Up

No problem pko, some of the replies can be a little sarcastic but you get used to it, I'm sure no harm meant, Tsr2's link is a good one though Thumbs Up , I was going to send it to you but he beat me to it by a good few hours, just got back from the Powis Wood Fair as part of the Powys 4x4 response, we are raising money for the Air Ambulance by giving the punters a ride around some of the grounds of Powis Castle in a 4x4 under the title of a Woodland Safari, just an excuse to drive off-road where we wouldn't normally be able to really Whistle But did actually rescue a vehicle from a flood on the way home though, keeping on trying to show the public that 4x4's aren't all bad and politely explaning why they have made a bad choice of vehicle to go exploring flooded roads Laughing

That would be a good plan, I would also like to know what the fix was, because I would really like to eradicate the problem.

Hobgoblin & Popelka, hi, I'm not confident that I have cured it permanently. I disabled lazy entry, & folding wheel feature, locked & unlocked the car a couple of times, reinstalled both features & so far it is working ok, but as I said, not sure how long this fix will work.
Thanks for your help, kind regards p
