Leather on a S

Had a replacement S on a 06 plate that had cream leather seats, not sure of the actual name of the colour.

Very nice but I thought that leather was not an option on the S unless that has changed.

Seats were still manual tho' and still sank due to the lever being caught by my buttock on entering and leaving the vehicle.

My dealer is now saying that there is no fix for this which, altho' a minor gripe, seems pretty cr*p on a luxury car.

That said I still think that overall the Disco is excellent. Very Happy

Leather is a (£1500?) option. If it was a cream leather it would be alpacca, a greeny creamy grey coulour is Tundra and black is ebony!

There are 2 S's near me that have leather. Look the same as the SE/HSE seats, but can't tell if they are electric or not. If they were, I'd stump up £1500 to get a comfy seat.

Definitely a factory option now. They are manual (non-electric) seats without armrests (which in my opinion only get in the way anyhow).
Cost is £1500. They were offering a special price during March of £750, which unfortunately I just missed out on.

My local Stratstone is offering a leather re-trim for about 1400-1500. Mildly tempting.
