Hello, When staying at our inner city place i often park infront of other peoples garages (common practice) and it is expected that you leave the handbrake off and in neutral and the security staff will push it out of the way as required. I now have an auto D4 which appears not to permit leaving it in neutral.
Is there a way to do this? It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

Park up, put into neutral, press and hold engine start / stop - stops after a couple of seconds (just tried it on mine) or put into park, stop engine, turn ignition back on, foot on brake, slide into neutral
Not sure if it does any damage in long term though?

I hope the security staff are strong - I've shoved ours on the drive a couple of times - high rolling rersistance and mahoosive weight = no fun!

if you push it by rotating the wheels, they are actaully quite easy to move - more difficult if you push on the bumpers etc. dont know why, but some engineery mathematician can explain no doubt  Duncan

Getting it moving wouldn't worry me, it's stopping it that would cause most concern  The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I will try next time I'm in town. It's rarely windy here and very flat where i park. I thought the neighbours cars would stop it if it rolled too far 
The security guards could do with a bit of a workout anyway as they are a bit scrawny. It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.
