Interesting - I helped Sacimidix (Paul) take a pair of those out of his D4 - he replaced with the Osram Nightbreakers and said they were much better. I had previously thought Phillips were a top level manufacturer although to be fair bulbs behave differently in the various headlamp types.

I tried running Nightbreakers in my Mrs Golf last year and they didnt last longer 3 Months ! Only dead fish go with the Flow !

Received your package today BOG Thumbs Up , fitted the SMD leds to the interior lamps of the D4 and wow what an improvement! Need shades. 8)

Going to fit the LED interiors, and the Nightbreakers into the new Crystal headlamps I have for my Defender tonight and see how they are.

By the way, have you thought about putting specific kits together for different cars, like a D4 interior kit, or a Defender kit incl night breakers? Maybe I missed something, but I had to engage the brain and 'think' to make sure I got the order right. You were good to PM me back and question my choices, but you were not to know I was doing the Defender as well.

I personally, am more likely to buy something on line if it is very specific, and I don't have to think about it. For example:

good idea.

I wouldn't mine LEDing the interior - the standard lights have always been a bit dim on D3 and D4, but I never seem to get round to finding out what bulbs I need (7 years on Embarassed ) Duncan

I have run nightbreakers on my motorbike for 3 years and I'm still on the original lamp! 2014 D4 XS

well they have been in for just over a month and yesterday the Offside bulb blew.

had to replace with a cheapy Halfords bulb.

this is costing me a fortune - there must be a better option.

never looked into changing the lights - what are the options ?

I should have paid the extra and taken the Zenon option when I ordered the car Rolling Eyes Duncan
