Careful what you wish for. I've got a couple of weeks of 24h daylight on planned RT18. That really messes with your mind!!
This was 1:30am!!!

When I say really messes with your mind I mean really messes with your mind!! Once in N Sweden I woke up, started packing up the gear in the tent when I looked at my phone, it was only 3:30am. Unfortunately I can't get used to the eye covers you get on overnight flights.

Yeah those animals will you and your vehicle up really good if you’re not careful. Fortunately they’ve got moose fences and overpasses for the crazy animals nowadays on most highways here. Smaller roads are still a problem.

@kajtzu: Agreed, seen far too many mega blood splat marks on roads like the E4 up to Ivalo where a vehicle has met a moose or reindeer. I usually see many reindeer, very few mooses, and the mental conversation goes like this when I think I see something at the side of the road:
It's a reindeer
No it's a rock
You sure, looks like a reindeer?
No a rock deffo a rock
Well that rock's got antlers
:beep: it's a reindeer. Or three.
And that's just for the ones I see.
They are cute though
