Lighting problem??

My d3 has suddenly started to do the following:
When lights are on Auto evreything is fine.
When I turn the Light switch to normal headlights ie sides and main I loose all interior instrument illumination?
When I turn the Light switch to sides I loose all outside lighting front and back (ie side lights) and all interior intrument illumination?
Anyone had a simillar problem or know what this could be as dealers had D3 for 3 days and still doesnt know what the problem is? 4th Day tomorrow? Any idea guys??

Bully Thumbs Up

Sounds like you have an issue with the switch itself ...

ISTR that BCB had a similar issue with the switch. I think a replacement switch cured it. not that difficult to do yourself Thumbs Up

I was thinking switch too.

Surely the dealer has eliminated this possibility, as it is the most obvious if the lights work Ok on auto, but start going wonky when switched to the various other positions.

Approx £30 will buy you a new switch.

I had this exact problem (dunno about the second half of them which I deleted) at pickup of my D3.
Turned out to be a blown fuse, dealer put in a new fuse and all was well.
