A little oil film

'Morning everyones...
Not driving the Disco much these days, infact done less than 400k since June Shocked Anyway, as you do, I was just looking around it the other day, and noticed an oil coating along the front chassis rail inside the RHF wheel arch. It's not a wet drip, but is obvious oil wetting. There's a plastic cover that hides the apparent source, but I think it's where the inlet plumbing and the manifold meet?? Do any other owners have a similar "wet patch"? I'm sure it's not serious, most likely the blow-by oil fumes condensing out and seeping at the clamp point.

PS anyone looking for a low K (65k) TDV6SE with options? It's a long way from anywhere but...

Yes, I took the plastic off mine & it's coming from the lower intercooler pipe. Apparently it just happens & not much you can do about it. tightened the clamp up, but it didn't really seem to be loose.

A new intercooler hose is only £36 and could cure it.

Small amount of oil in my hose when i changed it, only took 30mins.
Hardest part was removeing the small plastic cover!
