Better question is "who doesn't?" Piece of crap.
Must be designed by the same Chinese bloke who designed the light bulb holder in the lower glove box.... Evil or Very Mad

Load space cover

Although this should be a standard fit in HSE, had to purchase probably due to previous owner selling on bay. Bought and fitted one and find with all the flexibility and places to fit/store it looks good and finishes off the interior.

I didn’t know there was such a trade in load covers! However it does mean there is an even more interesting possible use of the load space cover in these cash strapped times:

Rather than use a Pawn Broker/Loan shark: using fleabay sell your load cover when you need funds then when you have funds again buy back a load space thus providing a short term/low cost loan (sometimes it might even be possible to make a profit on the sale and later buy back).

Come to think of it I might even start buying and selling Disco load covers I don’t have just like the clever people in the city that got us into this mess!

I know this is an ancient thread but it never ceases to amaze me what new information you find on this forum each and every day!

I have on numerous occasions been scratching my head and irritated over where to put that load cover whiles standing in a car park trying to ram the car full of junk! Cannot believe there are multiple places it can be placed completely out of the way!

Every day is a school day!!

It is well worth reading the handbook. These are complicated cars and there are some features you may never discover by yourself.

As has also been proved on this forum, there are a few features that aren't in the handbook either! Whistle
 D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
D4 MY13 HSE Lux - RLD/IID BT
P38 RR - Sad parting
110 - Even sadder parting

So has anyone got a spare loadspace cover in almond/beige sitting in their garage or under the stairs that they'd like to sell me?
Talk about rocking horse s**t! There's just 1 on eBay - right tatty looking, somewhere in Eastern Europe and they want £160 + p&p!

Update: Got one for free - I asked the salesguy when I pick up the car if he had a spare one and he just took one from another D4 in the lot. Result!

Thanks
P.

Load space cover storage

I came across the following by chance. The load space cover when removed is large & takes up a lot of room, well the guys at LR thought of this too, if you fold the second row of seats down you will see a black plastic tee stud sticking out of the outer 2 seats at the bottom, when the seats are lowered down you have a gap, if you look on the body of the load space cover you will see two slots, these line up with the studs on the seats, push it over the studs & hey presto the gap after the seat is filled & the floor is completely flat.
