Lockdown Project
During the last 12 months my family and i have been working on our D3. We have done several Spain trips with wild camping being a large part of the fun. So we decided to go one step further and make our vehicle fully self supporting.
We started with our base vehicle which we acquired in 2016.
The rear was totally stripped out including junking the 3rd row seats, and one of the 2nd row seats.

Spare wheel was removed from beneath, the space was going to be utilised for cold water storage, I could not find a tank to fit within the space. Now left open and will be easier to keep clean. The wheel carrier is a Terrafirma one. The rim will be fitted with a Cooper SST to match the restiiD Bluetooth Diagnostic Tool

Travel restrictions are a bind at the moment but it can't last forever. I will do some preventative stuff like replacing rad as they are prone for allowing water into the autobox fluid. Also intercooler hoses and maybe a winch.iiD Bluetooth Diagnostic Tool
