How long does it take......

To realise that your sat nav is taking you on an unsuitable route

Didn't realise you could be summonsed for driving without due care and attention for using a sat nav
 "Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag'em down to your level. It's cheaper".

Yes, but you can for not using your eyes or basic common sense.

I saw that story earlier this morning. Shocked

I don't think you can be charged with driving without due care for using a sat nav (unless you are not watching the road Wink ), I think this chap has been charged because he followed it like a lemming, when common sense should have told him something was not quite right Rolling Eyes

The local BBC news reported this last night, the reporter made out that this road / track was not suitable for vehicles
