It is not that bad and quite a good piece of reporting I would say... Seems fair to me !

How the hell does he only manage 23MPG ?? I'm not a slow driver by any means - ask the wife - and the worst I get is 26-27

Average is around 29... and I love to use the beasts excellent road holding.

Has he never heard of "THE HEATED WINDSCREEN SWITCH" ?? Turn it on and a few seconds later the wipers will be un-frozen... never had an issue with mine in the winter.

Also he must be very short too in order to use the drivers door arm rest... I use the soft padded window sill... much more comfy.

I only get 23 on average (sometimes) just depends on how late I am or how much excess mud I carry

Do you have any details of the patch that was done? I'm suffering very low mileage as well, partly due to lot's of town driving.

thanks

Not too happy with my MPG either - usually averages around 22. Currently waiting for another call from TurboChip to arrange a date and time for him to 'chip' my car. Having read all the other posts from people who have had this done, I'm hoping for some improvement in economy to go with those extra 50 horses
Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills Smile
