Interior tail gate lights
For what purpose is there two lights under the top tail gate,and should they come on when the gate is opened or is there some magic switch or sequence of events to make them light up (mine don't) the bulbs are ok

Only lights on the tailgate itself are the number plate lamps - come on with headlights.

I've put LEDs in mine, not to help the plod but to give a bit more light either to the lower tailgate or to the rear if tailgate is up at night.
