Thanks, mine did not go into limp mode for the first few warnings but after a 200 mile drive to the Lake District with a family of 5, trailer and dog all loaded up I'm wondering if the hills took it over a heat warning threshold and it shut down? 1964 Series IIA SWB Truck Cab - gone

Did the temperature rise when it done it Metal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)
LR door puddle projectors (10 mins)
Tinted Bonnet wind deflector (10 mins)
All Intercooler pipes and Tbolts (2hrs)
3 injectors replaced so far (30mins)
Sunroof drain pipes both sides 2.5 hrs)
Rear discs, shoes,pads,callipers,flexi hoses, rigid brake line, n/s upper hub carrier bush and rear n/s upper arm (13hrs over 2 days)

I'm off to the dealer this morning for tailgate latch, passenger rear door latch and coolant level. I will advise them what needs to be replaced. 1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

I never noticed the temperature gauge rise. 1964 Series IIA SWB Truck Cab - gone

Make sure you have the correct ratio of anti-freeze to water.
It may not be the float at fault. Joe

I didn’t even get the triangle, nor to I get it with low washer level, can this be right or does my car not want to worry me.?
