That Mondeo looks relatively unscathed compared to the one that hit my old D1 rear offside whilst it was parked at side of our street. Apparently, if sun is in your eyes and you can't see anything, accelerating is the thing to do. Well, at least that's what the old chap in the Mondeo seemed to have done.
D1 quarter panel pulled straight but the boot floor split

Yes, I noticed that, I thought it was a dent at the time, but looking at Lrstaylor's image it looks exactly the same.
It took LR 6 weeks to supply a new rear 1/4 panel.
Nasher Heaven doesn't want me, and hell is afraid I'll take over.

So car was dropped off yesterday with regards to the bump.
Been given a tiguan as a courtesy car.. Just hope it will tow the tintent as its a hell of a lot smaller than the disco....
Can't wait to get the old girl back and its only been 12 hours.

So car has been in a week, just had phone call from garage and will be ready tomorrow.... But
Tow bar is on back order from landrover and I may receive in time for my next outing in ten days
