LR Dealer fit Bluetooth phone kit

Hi all,

I called my dealer today to see if I could have the LR bluetooth Phone kit fitted to my base model Discovery 3. I was told that there was not a kit that could be fitted to this car? Does anyone know if it can be retro fitted?

Thanks

I'm not sure that the base model radio system is compatible with PTI - TFC could possibly assist with this Wink

I looked into this too & came to the conclusion that you’d be better off with one of the phone manufacturer BT kits.

Nokia, for instance have some pretty nifty kits on the market. It would give you way more functionality than the LR retro fit kit. In fact it could even be better than the factory fit PTI.

Certainly would be a fraction of the cost anyway. Smile

I was told that the different spec. cabling and head unit between 'S' and base prevented PTI being offered as a factory-fit option, so i'd be amazed if a LR dealer-fit kit would work.

Get a BT-equipped Tom Tom, then you can have sat-nav and hands-free!
