Certainly do, it’s all about attracting new owners, current owners can do one as far as LR and it’s dealers are concerned.

Spotted the front cover of this months What Car, whilst shopping earlier and it seems they are doing dog awards for cars! Andy

Indeed , does seem that way , I always think land rovers and dogs go together and a massive market for dog accessories
I’ve got one of those rinse systems, the local river
I might actually see if I can build some steps with some anti slip matting on top , as my dogs use the middle seats , too much agro I think having to lower the middle seats for them to access the boot if I was using a ramp
Maybe something out of MDF as they’ve only got to access sill height and can gain access to the seats from there , or possibly a small slide out ramp that can be stored on the middle row floor , shame a ramp wasn’t able to be slid under the seats

As has been commented on elsewhere......wouldn't it be nice if they (LR) could just focus on improving reliability.

Found a picture of seat combinations
I wondered why the middle row seats would drop down the floor
Assume that’s so u can have the back down and level with the other seats
So am wondering , if I drop the middle seat so the back is folded down it will allow access for the dogs into the boot
Will have the 3rd row seats folded into the boot floor space , then maybe fit a board onto the boot floor , bolt the board down using the lash down points and fix a telescopic ramp onto the board , maybe have to use to runners
Dogs have a harness each so they can’t wander around
So I can get them in and out easier through the boot , just didn’t realise u could fold the seats like this
Learn something new every day about the seat combinations

Before our dogs (now dog ) got too old we used to load them through the middle with the driver’s side middle row seat folded forward. Basically step up & turn then step up to the boot. Worked nicely until they weren’t able to do that, then it was using the Jazz only as dog transport.
Here Sam showing how little he had to get lifted. Until even that was too much.

HI DSL
Bless u and lovely looking dog
I have to lift my lab in, she to lazy get up on her own , they always lay on the middle row and never the boot
But in fairness didn’t know the seats would fold up in that combination
Certainally gives me better options , along with ensuring as she comes down onto the floor she doesn’t strain her legs , being a lab that always worried me
Bichon is easy, just the lazy lump of a lab that I have to help in and out
Bless u for that and really helpful as it shows me what u guys do to make life easier
Just thinking also about the idea of fixing a telescopic ramp in the boot , assume on runners etc
Got individual seats covers so will be easier to fold
Thks again

Unfortunately I don’t have any pics of the boys loading through the middle but it worked for a good while. It even got to the stage of they preferred one side to t’other. Don’t forget to drop to off-road height, that really helps.

No worries
Indeed that what I’m thinking with the middle so they there also next to a window for fresh air , whilst allowing access through the middle seat into the boot
Could kick myself as I didn’t realise once the middle seat was folded it could drop flush with the outer seats , doh
As I rarely use the 3 rd row just thinking if I remove the boot tie downs and utilise the body fixings to fix down a sheet of wood to fix the telescopic ramp to, but think I may have to use some runners, unless the ramp will come out enough and then drop down onto the floor
But will have to allow it to be easily removed to gain access to the spare wheel winch
Do u mean access height plse as you’ve said off road height
Thank u As always , most appreciated of any help

Ah, I did mean access height. Well spotted. Too much good wine been consumed tonight.
PS Forgot to say it’s easy to take a middle row outer seat completely out if that improves access to the rear, obviously doesn’t then have a barrier to that new void. Just don’t forget to put the bolts back as the holes are through to the outside.
