The diffs are in and the frame is now fully assembled and ready for the engine and transmission . Also assembled the air hoses for the diffs aswell as the vents for the raised ARB vent. This will also be hooked up to the transfer case and transmission venting aswell Very Happy

I'm stoooooooooooked.

Working on the engine now and will have the and the transmission assembled onto the frame during the week (I hope). Also hope to get the Stiles welded and done during the week... If all stars align , the cab will mate with the frame next weekend. However very possible that that time line will not hold.

Thanks Very Happy It's just what i prefer. Going into this project , getting away from air was one of the criterias. Air is good and superior in many ways. However, its has its downsides . And the downsides are to great for me with regards to what I whant to achieve with my car Smile

What I'm aming for here is trustabilaty. Eliminating critical failure modes as far as I can.

There is significant amount of time gone into planning this build . And the considerations have been made around reliability.

I'm doing what I can to ensure that I get out of what I get into

Hi Very Happy

These are named trekfinder. It's the only springs I could find with TUV papers which is needed for me to get the car road legal.

Is will change back to the Terrafirma coils after my approval.

They actually came tight like that . Very packed on top prior to assembly onto the strut.

so I guess they got to be on progressive side less linear which I assume would give vehicle raise of a couple of inches as well

update time Very Happy

1- Engine outer parts taken of and refitted with many new parts and just a general clean up to make sure all is good. Explenation :When I received my refurbished engine, I had to just move the parts over in a jiffy to deliver the old engine to the company I bought my new one from.

So now the engine is tipp topp Thumbs Up

3- Mated the engine and the gearbox + changed a bunch of part on the gearbox ( oil pan , levers, seals , etc...).

4- Engine and transmission is back in the frame and all installed. + all oils on the car have been added + Evrything is now back on the frame and it's ready for the upper body.

The only thing that was annoying is that I had to fit the old exhaust and wheels as my new wheels and exhaust whont pass my rebuild inspection. But on the flip side, it's just going to be even more awesome to add these details after the inspection Thumbs Up

5- welding and fabrication if Stiles. When the sandblaster blasted the car. We knew he would blow right trhu the rear ends . So I have been procrastinating this job Big Cry But its getting done now and I'm soon done with one side Bow down The positive side is that when this is done there is no more rust on any area of the car Very Happy
