LRA/Extended Warrenty to Tesco Finest Switch Day

I dont think this has been ever discussed, not partically the companies, but more like the switch day when one runs out and the other takes over.

My predicament, and will call Landrover Warranty tomorrow, is bascially again my D3 is booked in on Saturday May 16th for work to be done under warranty Monday 18th. However my warrenty runs out May 15th with LR Extended, and is the earliest my dealer can get the D3 in Big Cry

Now to cover myself I have taken out Tesco's finest, and was intentional from Monday 12th, do you think there may be an issue, or will LR cover the works as its booked it from last week anyway

My understanding is that as long as the vehicle is booked in at the LR dealer for that particular fault before the warranty expires, LR warranty will cover the repairs - but it must be a confirmed booking made before warranty expires. This is based on what I was told last year before our warranty was due to expire and I had some outstanding rotarycoupling issues. So you should be fine.
LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

If you reported the problem within the warranty period you'll be fine. I just had a new front diff a week outside warranty, but I reported the issue within the warranty period.

Well the dealers had me visit them on the 29th, last Wednesday. Got an appointment card to, which now is worth its weight in gold. I am sure it will be ok, but want to check with LRA tomorrow, cos my mistake I told the dealers warranty ran out on the 19th May Big Cry , but runs out the Friday before Big Cry Big Cry

So before I ring them tomorrow, then the dealer, I thought I had better check. Cheers guys Thumbs Up

Mr H & Methley, both correct guys Thumbs Up

Spoke to LR this morning and although I am gonna be out of warranty on fix day, it was recorded by them today, within warranty. They asked when it was booked in, which was last week and they ask what the problem was, and said ok Thumbs Up

I rang my dealer to confirm the problem, and again they said if LR are ok, so are we.

Cheers Guys for the reassurance Thumbs Up
