LRE - any hints and tips to get the best from it?

Hello all,
I'm just trying to arrange my complimentary half-day LRE at the local centre (Honiton) and wondered whether any of you who have enjoyed this experience would list some "do and don't"s (sic) or just some "if/when I do it again I'll..."
Thanks in advance,
alex

I'll second that, far better value and you will get to practise so much more.

Zoom up the M5 and do Eastnor... not far off the M50

And then pay your £70 and do it there.

I'd go to Eastnor. Honiton is rather limited; nice, don't get me wrong, but all the tough stuff is in a wood and it is pretty "ordinary".

Simon, head down there to take a look at the Majors Trial in September - I will check the dates but think it is 10-11th this year. It's a few years now since I took part, but a great event that takes full advantage of the great terrain that Eastnor Castle has to offer.

P.S. I agree with quite a lot you say! 8)

P.P.S. I think you should take your car back and demand that a seat memory module is fitted.............

Winger,

At the dealer in the morning to reset my oil service indicator that has suddenly appeared.

And nice to know your reading the posts and agreeing... even if you've been quiet recently Wink

Will ask about the module. Is it easy to fit ? And relatively cheap ? Be good to have the info as they are usually OK at trying these things out if they know what's what.

The Majors Trial sounds good but I may be in Amsterdam for work... you know, that pretty quiet town really with not much to do in the evenings.... Wink

Whats the gig at this event ?

Cheers,

You have a 2005MY S.

The 2005MY S has a user settings menu as standard; that's your line.....

Yes, it can be easily fitted at not huge cost. Your car would appear to be a rogue. Your patience is admirable.

Quiet? Me? Just that the rest of you are making so much noise....!

The Majors is an invitation Cross Country Vehicle Trial; teams from clubs around the country compete in teams of three. I would class the challenge as potentially damaging...and exciting!

Will use that line and info... thanks.

And the trail sounds fun bit I cannot afford to break the DISCO3 ! So maybe I will go along and watch with envy...

Really looking forward to the 7th and BN's off road bash. Be great to learn more about the cars abilities.

Sadly I can't make it on 7th, but know you will have a great day. Rockingham is a special place that I know very well.
