Main bearing bolt

Hi all!

Does anybody know where to get the main bearing TTY bolts? It's a M12x1.75x110mm stretch bolt but i can't find anybody who sells them... And you aren't supposed to reuse them once installed Sad

Thank you for the information!

I measured the diameter of the thread at the end, middle and top of the bolt with a precise micrometer to determine any stretch.
It was negligible so i re-used all of mine as i had difficulty getting hold of new ones.
3 years on so far, crossing fingers again Laughing

Read about measuring the thread to determine stretch in a manufacturers workshop manual - i think it was Toyota.

Hello!

Well, i have found a very close match:

FEBI BILSTEIN 09798 HEAD BOLT

It's a TTY head bolt, M12X1.75 and 111mm long. The first problem is that 1mm in length - i didn't check the thread depth in the block yet, but what do you guys think? The next question is if the bolt has the same TTY characteristics as the original one?
