| What are the main issues to look for? |

I am currently looking to sell or part exchange my 535 D BMW for a disco 3 and i was wondering what to look for when buying one. What are the main things to look for?
All answers would be greatly appreciated.

hi gardner,get the best you can afford,if its not a high spec model dont worry too much as a lot can be added as a lot of electrics for "extras" are already in the car.  full service history is a must from either main stealer or approved independant.if poss get someone with d3 knowledge(poss a site member near you to have a look).make sure every switch/button etc works especially things like epb and suspension(lifting and dropping)
if you get one from a main stealer he will(or should)give you a voucher for a half day landrover experience course,take it you will be amazed at what a d3 can do.(permagrin will automaticaly form after the course)
